Honourable Chief Justice of Supreme Court of India, Your Honour, Sub: A prayer for issue of writ of habeas corpus to Government of India in public interest not to deny level playing field in availing justice in India to aggrieved by orders of Government of India or any public authority in India Whenever Government or any competent authority decides and issues a public order concerning public assets or infrastructure or a project, while one party gets advantage of such an order, there is always other stakeholders who feel aggrieved because of losing own assets or adversely impacting their life style or business, and would like to avail their basic right of seeking a judicial review. But in the current practice of government , the files are kept secret, while government orders are public. The recent incidents of CBI arresting Home Secretary of a State or Principal Secretary for purpose of "investigation" and sending them to jail as if they are criminals with history sheets, and then threatening Minsters indirectly with arrest and jail and actually doing the same to even a working Chief Minster, all are adding up to a situation where soon similar fate can fall on the Judges of courts too . With steady erosion of credibility in the systems, honest person like Anna Hazare, could mobilise millions of citizens across the country, creating practically some kind of mob fury,which may take an ugly turn...

The way our Government was hounding and humiliating the Armed Forces is so infuriating for any person with self-esteem ; but the patience and maturity with which our Armed Forces behaved is outstanding and one must be proud of having such leadership, in our Forces. The bureaucrats with inferiority complex constantly drummed in to the heads of political class that the only way to keep powerful dogs obedient is to tighten the leash and give a good whipping, so that who is boss is never for gotten and political class will enjoy the benefits of democracy unfettered. The fear psychosis was leveraged smartly by the bureaucrats, to take advantage of the insecure political system, to belittle the Armed Forces no end, and finally make them succumb to their own agendas.
