A prayer for issue of writ of habeas corpus to Government of India in public interest not to deny level playing field in availing justice in India

Honourable Chief Justice of Supreme Court of India, Your Honour, Sub: A prayer for issue of writ of habeas corpus to Government of India in public interest not to deny level playing field in availing justice in India to aggrieved by orders of Government of India or any public authority in India Whenever Government or any competent authority decides and issues a public order concerning public assets or infrastructure or a project, while one party gets advantage of such an order, there is always other stakeholders who feel aggrieved because of losing own assets or adversely impacting their life style or business, and would like to avail their basic right of seeking a judicial review. But in the current practice of government , the files are kept secret, while government orders are public. For secret matters, not open for public to know, it is fine to keep secret files, in the larger national interest. In such secret matters, the orders there of also remain secret. However in all...

An appeal to Supreme Court to restore balance back!

To Hon'ble Chief Justice Shri S.H. Kapadia Supreme Court New Delhi Sir, Sub: Fast eroding institutional credibility in IAS and other organised services and the constitutional positions of Prime Minister, Cabinet Ministers as well as Chief Minsters in states.-A prayer for your kind consideration from an anguished ex government servant and citizen of India. The recent incidents of CBI arresting Home Secretary of a State or Principal Secretary for purpose of "investigation" and sending them to jail as if they are criminals with history sheets, and then threatening Minsters indirectly with arrest and jail and actually doing the same to even a working Chief Minster, all are adding up to a situation where soon similar fate can fall on the Judges of courts too . With steady erosion of credibility in the systems, honest person like Anna Hazare, could mobilise millions of citizens across the country, creating practically some kind of mob fury, which may take an ugly turn...

Our Generation has failed the nation!

For a nation to hold on its own with honour: Three ingredients are needed..funds, honesty and integrity. in the reverse order. Mere funds lacking the other two ingredients produce only black money economy, arms trade and Naxalism or maoism in tribal areas, and organised mafia gangs in urban areas, with full secret political support too. Poor continue to live as in the Moghul period suffering both the Government, contractors and the Maoists, choosing the lesser evil, as the circumstances dictate. Humans survive based on the intrinsic Darwin principle adopting to the environmental forces which they may like or dislike. A few sensitive intellectuals let out hot air but cannot do much. Like slavish Jews under Egyptians dying while building pyramids , there were intellectuals then also amongst them consoling them, should we look for a Moses to lead the poor out of their plight? Or like Rang De Basanti heros groups of youngsters have to put an end a to a few in power, only to be tagged...

Why so much of anguish for brick and mortar while losing basic enlightenment of just being humane?

The material on Taj Mahal , written by Prof. Oak, has been circulated on the internet many number of times by different people. Well actually no one denies also.. except Government of India turns a blind eye. Even when BJP was in power, they chose to keep quiet. Same with Ayodhya-- a Muslim ASI officer confirmed to me in person , while in Goa, that when they got complete proof that it was not Babri masjid but a Hindu temple... the bosses, were told to remove the reports and he was one of the officers admonished too, that was soon after independence. Interestingly, that Muslim Officer painstakingly studied all the ancient puranas and was thorough with the vedic time scales- and was open with praise for the many orders superior knowledge base of ancients and was feeling sorry for many of his own Hindu colleagues and bosses, who take pride in not knowing their own country's ancient history. In fact he presented me with a set of his own collection of puranas--- after a debate and discu...
