A typical case to prove we humans are mostly stupid!

Among communities of well educated engineers and scientists or highly qualified and specially selected government administrators and policy makers , I always got puzzled why and how stupidity prevails !

They ignore since 2005

1.a rail based simple system which can eliminate road traffic , merging functions of road and rail ,

2 transports both people and cargo at speeds from 100 to 360 with capacity fully matching with current systems

3. eliminate current railway yards ,

4. can never derail or collide even when train control systems fail,

5. provide 24/7 service every minute be it floods or snow falls with easy access from neighborhood footpath

6. Low capital cost needing no fresh land affordable being financially viable

7. A govt can get using non-cash means of auctioning right of way over existing carriage ways adopting BOO basis

8 truly decongest city roads and provide intercity and port both sea and air connectivity without modal split

9 fully safety tested time tested subelents needing no fresh technology research

10 Proven in actual dynamic field tests in 2005 itself

What is the genius justifying inferior systems which can stand no comparison to above performance parameters and live in misery . All cities are miserable despite spending huge amounts on solutions of flyovers or metro rails . Only white elephants needing government subsidies are created .

How to get infrastructure practically free to govt which addresses all the shortcomings of current thinking , is presented with engineering details as well as what governments needs to do to get the facility free .

Human stupidity is a fascinating and complex topic that has been explored by many thinkers and researchers. One notable perspective comes from Carlo Cipolla, an economic historian, who proposed the **Five Basic Laws of Human Stupidity**:

1. **Always and inevitably, everyone underestimates the number of stupid individuals in circulation**.

2. **The probability that a certain person is stupid is independent of any other characteristic of that person**.

3. **A stupid person is one who causes harm to another person or group without any benefit to themselves, and possibly even causing harm to themselves**.

4. **Non-stupid people always underestimate the damaging power of stupid individuals**.

5. **A stupid person is the most dangerous type of person**¹.

These laws suggest that stupidity is not just about a lack of intelligence but also about the impact of one's actions on others and oneself.

Additionally, research has shown that even highly intelligent people can act irrationally or make poor decisions. This phenomenon is often attributed to cognitive biases, emotional influences, and situational factors².

It's a topic that blends psychology, sociology, and even a bit of humor, as it touches on the quirks and flaws of human behavior.
