The ultimate Knowledge comes to the humble seeker!

I received an email detailing the Hindu calendar very well-- attached at the end of my comment.

Yes that is what Sri Bhagavatha says.

The arrow of time since the beginning of current Brahma has progressed only 50 Brahma days!! The total length is 315 trillion years, as worked from the figures and posted at Buzz.

So we have a very young Brhma of only 50 days of his age in to his total of 100 years equal to 315 trillion solar years of ours!

Then since it is 7th Manwantara of 14 per one day of Brhma, practically we are at the noon of Brhma on his 50th day of coming into existence.

Actually it is not correct to call Hinduism as a religion... we are getting trapped by the words of other religions.

Sanatana Dharma is pure knowledge not religion, in a narrow sense. The Jnaana either you gain or you over look. Your choice and it does not matter for the Satya to remain Satya.

The Sanatana Dhrama encompasses all so called religions too as mere works of fantasies of humans, reflecting the prevalence of one of the gunas , either satvic, rajasic or tamasa-- all of which make up each individual soul and depending on which one is dominating, the humans create their own illusionary knowledge loaded with filters. But Satya remains immutable.

What a majority of leading prevailing thinkers agree among themselves as truth is being declared as scientific and rational way of understanding the universe.

Even the so understood logical steps of mathematics creating a beauty of its own, some time overpowers human mind and make one read some truth bending fitting facts to suit the theory. But the logical and rational steps get outdated with another discovery of inconsistency. Of course we hide behind a singularity whenever we feel uncomfortable.

The description of universe, creation of 18 faceted human being, tangible and intangible elements which have gone in to, evolution spreading over billions of years , and much more contained in Sri Bhgavatha is too much for the current science to approach and understand, unless you remove your filters of narrow so called scientific methods loaded with tremendous arrogance of infallibility.

But one should respect a scientist because he is on the path as seeker to find answers to questions troubling him. So long as he does not conclude that he has now the ultimate truth and every one else is wrong and should be condemned.

Same applies to the very process of scientific inquiry-- there is nothing like evidence should be cent percent physical. Einstein did introduce thought experiments. Reflection and contemplation too are other processes. One should accept varied open thinking processes and should not shun questions even from less initiated.

Humility and hunger for really understanding the ultimate truth Satya, are needed, and it has nothing to do with any religion including vociferous declaration that we are Hindus and we must protect the "religion" !

It is ridiculous. True knowledge seeker is a simple Bhagavatha - a person who seeks the truth.

Trying to fit Bhagavatha to the way we understand modern science is an insult to the ultimate truth and only reflects our ahamkara.

Actually we can seek answers for all our questions from the Bhgavatha which explains all the singularities left by the renowned cosmologists.

No wonder at the end of their intense thinking many great thinkers even in Western world ended up at the end of life, to say we seem to know little and Indian saints seem to have gone further, much further than we are capable of realising today.

So pitting ancient Sanatana Dharma applicable to all human beings and the universe, terming it as Hinduism, and then pitting it against other religions is puerile and egoistic.

Truth shines in all hearts of true committed, honest souls irrespective of sect and creed.

1000 Mahaa Yugs [ महा-युग ] make 1 Kalp.

71 Mahaa Yugs make 1 Manvantr.

4 yugs make 1 mahaa yug ; --- 4 yugs are:----

1. Sat Yug [ सत-युग ] = 1,728,000 yrs-------- with Durgaa and Narsingh Avtaar [ दुर्गा-अवतार नरसिंह-अवतार ]

2. Tretaa Yug त्रेता-युग = 1,296,000 yrs---- with Parashu-raam [ परशु-राम ]and Raam Avtaar[ राम-अवतार ]

3. Dvaapar Yug द्वापर-युग = 864,000 yrs---------- with Balaraam [बलराम ]and Krishn Avtaar [ कृश्ण-अवतार ]

why do we believe christian---scientists and not Hinduu---scientists ऋशि ? is it not a shame on Hinduus because they believe christian- scientists and not Hinduu -scientists [ Hinduu rishis ऋशि ] ?
