My response to Prof V.V Raman.
Sir,
Very grateful for your kind gesture of sending this unique mail.
The world itself is so wonderfully varied and amazing in so many ways a life time is but a speck to truly gauge the depth and vastness .
Bound my limited physical sensory organs, the mental inquiry closing eyes seeking answers is what the knowledgeable attempt.
The truth of the world and the truth of every one without exception being dependents , never capable to achieve nirdukha ananda or joy without attached misery following, at all times , forces one to seek what is it that is driving the mammoth system with such clock work precision and inexorably driving events and attitudes of humanity to cause pain or pleasure.
It is quite comfortable to think that I am as old and ancient as you or my grand child; about 2.1 b years in this cycle.
Then the first mantra EsAvasyam idam...to the 18th one does reflect the thoughts of the ruler of us at that time 2.1b years ago.
Personally though I am not as accomplished as you are, Sir, but each one of us to our limits of yogyata, or competence, do have right to access the path of knowledge to know the ultimate truth Sataym- lit by jnaana, and Ananada-- freed from moham and attachment to relationships or material things.
The need for karma is inevitable and one must keep doing his kartavya- duty - with love but without getting moham- blind love.
The day we see the same spark of eternal force driving buddhi and karma of every living entity around us, the liberation within makes one gain that absolute freedom from every constraint imposed on our physical existence.
The beauty of our world is truly astounding and makes one bow in all humility for the loving opportunities given in one's life. Except for gratitude, there is no place for complaining.
Though I cannot express as beautifully as you have done, Sir, my understanding is transformations of our physical bodies from old to young and young to old , is just a simple natural process, to allow us to grow continuously within.
May Lord Sri Hari and my Guru bless you Sir with more and more knowledge and self-awareness and grant you Swarupa Ananda Sir!
With pranaamams,
Rajaram
