Quiet flows the Ganga!

I have been operating on Twitter and Facebook apart from running my own blogs for the past decade.

What I observe is the same attitudes and compartmentalisation as obtained in real life take place  in these formats.

You make groups and follow nor "unfollow" persons and the big shots and celebrities use it as just one way of communication , just one way, no response just as out happens in real life...they refuse to respond and some even block comments.

The humans cannot get out of the basic anthropological compulsions and comfort of belonging to own clan or class.

Now a days news print also recognise the need for readers to express their immediate , sometimes thoughtless but emotional outbursts, instantly web posting comments once their email is registered. You won't believe that such venemous language can be used to express yourself!

Grace is missing on the web.

Only a few digital publications like Moneylife run by Sucheta Dalal truly stand up without need to depend on corporate bandicoots. This has been made possible because of web and internet.

Print media still has some old world filtering but relatively felt to be old hag style by the hot blooded young crowds who just blurt out but immediately switch to another topic. They move on, impatient and in hurry to male the next million.

Paradox is we have million times more communication conveniences , at very low cost, but communicate really nothing worth while or long lasting in values.

Anger and impatience are matched by unwillingness to at least to listen or read to understand others' point of view.

Quiet flows the Ganga  unmindful of all these light and sound shows

"Belonging to their own clan", is what I found out, in blog world.

Many of them operate for their own group in blogs too. They all seem to know each other too. there are lot of ego trips , hassles, and quarrels.
Very interesting indeed.

Sometimes I notice well meaning comments too are not approved, nor acknowledged. Strange.

Thanks for the good post sir.
