Novel Coronavirus #COVID-19 proved to be many orders smarter than human species !
How dumb humans (scientists) proved themselves against the smart novel SARS-COV-2! But DHARAVI slum put these scientists to shame !
From 21st April 2020 all effort made till now to reach WHO, world governments ignored and people and economy are suffering. The largest slum of the world Dharavi in Mumbai, used Oximeters from April 21st and WON over the Corona virus : Today 24 Jun they shut down care centers.
An appeal to PM India to save his nation.
Stealthy, quickly infecting novel SARS-COV-2 cuts communications to body’s immune system , so that no external symptoms like temperature or fever or cough seen. But within hours replicated taking over cells and attacks lung capacity to transfer oxygen to blood and amazingly here too allows carbon dioxide to be exhaled so that an infected one doesn’t feel anything out of normal. At every stage humans based on their previous knowledge presumed too many things and this novel virus exposed the shallowness if experts of respected and trusted WHO and also practically every nation’s health expert.
So one found the ridiculous infra non touch base thermal scan used extensively , very seriously welcoming with open arms practically 70% of coronavirus carriers . And even though well known in Jan 2020 itself , still even by May end humans refuse to correct themselves to shift to pulse Oximeter to check for SpO2 for travel clearance . With large scale human movement by flights and trains , using only temperature as symptom to be checked , but not the oxygen saturation level , exposes entire society to the dreaded corona.
But now ego seems to have overtaken authorities and they are fighting shy to admit mistake.
But human lives don’t matter? Bureaucracy, be it of scientists or engineers or administrators, is worse than #coronavirus!
It’s possible to create safe havens of public spaces and work places and public transport by using the simple device pulse Oximeter . Like we do security check for fire arms to make a place safe, similarly bio screen to assure only those with 95% or above SpO2 can enter. Others need self care or medical attention.
And daily checks to assure only the healthy enter the safe enclosures possible. That’s necessary till we have a reliable vaccine developed.
