Felt sad watching the spirited debate and anguish finally culminating in helplessness in both the houses of Parliament. Members truly are showing tears and anger. But tomorrow they forget. If they are serious , it is not stronger law or more police which can protect the typing women or public assets.It is honest ruler who can make the difference with values enforced down the line.
Solution is not far to seek . It is actually too simple, but are we really honest to demand it? The root cause of all our ills is the attraction of power for the corrupt. More than public service as intention, the opportunity to be able to secretly record on files mis-interpretin
Rapes and murders are kind of collateral damage to these unscrupulous leaders holding power.
How to remove this attraction of corrupt for government power? Honest cannot fight in elections to beat these ruthless ones.
Simple is solution. Govt should be forced through law courts and public campaign, to openly demand that secret interpretation of public policy in files giving out orders alienating assets , has no legal nor constitutional sanction.
Amazing that all intellectuals are missing this point. May be because the secret is buried in many layers of the way administration functions. Either they are unable to see the connection, or want to preserve the secret for mutual benefit.
Time we wake up and see the connection. Demand file and order should be scanned and web posted. This automatically brings in public checks and balances in to action through media and courts.
This will deter corrupt because , it becomes am last impossible to take benefit of bad order. Because before they reap benefit, the order will becomes a matter of informed public debate. Soon corrupt lose taste for such useless power. Then power is useful only for public service and not for private benefit.
