How
innocent we have been living not knowing what is hurting the nation and
our lives! We keep on blaming why corrupt guys only are able to spend
crores and seek political power finallly to steal our tax money which is
spent as they please, to benefit own kith and kin. We compalin and then
think of RTi and feel we have a great facility , for which we fought
well and succeeded. But did we? Are we not duped? The corruption
continues. A few activists die also while seeking information under RTI.
but we have many young idealists, who believe that RTI is good and
think they achieved something whenever some small fish in government get
inconvenienced. But it is nothing for the sharks in the government.They
play this game with public very well. They continue to steal the public
assests, by carefully nurturung the privilege of secret interpreatation
of public policy with stated objective of public good, but in realirty
helping themselves and their own. When scams like 2g get exposed, we get
duly angry . We make Araving Kejriwal a hero hoping he will change the
nation. But again we fall in the same emotional trap and hopeless path
we follow as innocent people do. Pause and try to analyse why and how
irrespective of parites, who ever comes to power, the corruption never
ceases? We are human and Kejriwal too is another human. No human can
remain honest at all times and in every action he takes and the system
puts tremendous constraints too. Lok pal and police etc are again the
same old thinking, let the thief take our money and run, we will follow
up with honest people as Lok Pal. Just think , how do you get such
people , not just one Lok pal, but many investigating policemen from
amongst us? How do we become suddennly pure angels? When we do not hink
and analyse why the system makes people corrupt, then this song and
dance show will continue and we go on getting fooled , as has been
happening for the last 60 years. The secret interpretation and keeping
the files secret for implementing public policy, is at the core problem
giving rise to tremendous opportunity to steal or be unfair in
exercising power. A simple step of scan the proceedings and webpost
along with the government order can set right the system. The system
then prevents any man in power to take benefit- because before he can
draw benefit and run away, all of us, the press, the media, the NGOs and
the person who was treated unfaily, will have the opportunity to get
justice in court of law. The justice then can stay such bad orders. The
denial of judicial review because of lack of documents in today's
system, can be rectified. But no one wants to demand this surprisingly.
That includes respected Anna Hazare, the media, Kiran Bedi, Arun Roy
...the list is very long. But all of them are good people. Then why they
do not want to demand? Or they are ignorant? Is ther eneed for an ACt
to implement? No just an executive order by PM or CM enough. It is
administrative step. This is the most incredible country where
youngsters walk out on to streets with all anger but refuse to see the
real problem. Just blindly getting misled by leaders, seems be the
favourite pastime. The system should be corrected and not making humans
heros to cause magic for us!!
