Our new generation leaders on plank of honesty : why knowingly they are misleading us?

What JP is doing is the same as done by other politicians. May be the issues to day get attention by such acts- similar to what Chandra Babu or Jagan or Nrayana or Raghavulu. The same pattern. For years leaders had put up such shows and villagers hopefully get impressed.TV grabs of Police arresting and releasing within one hour seems to be the only achievement.

Wish a more intelligent leader like JP or Kiran Bedi or Kejriwal- start a new generation of leadership - to make an effort to first identify the problem correctly and then have a strategic approach to make moves to attack the problem.

Surprising for me to watch these respected ex-bureaucrats continue to still protect their class by not cutting at the root of our malaise.- the abuse of administrative interest plank to hold back the revelation of the process of governance. The administrative interest argument is valid to keep the process secret in a file only till the order is processed and issued affecting public interest. But once the order is issued, this right extinguishes. Now still applying the argument of administrative interest to hide the file and proceedings after issue of order, is actually an act of sabotaging the right of public to enable them to judge whether the governance is in public interest or not.

Obviously when the file is processed, they are required to follow the public policy and every interpretation of the law must be in public interest. This is the one and only way to function for the bureaucrats and the constitutional protection given to the organised services is for ensuring this aspect and not bend or crawl to the desires of the politicians.

SO when bureaucrats abuse the administrative interest , to justify keeping file secret from public view, even after orders are finalised and issued, it raises the question, are these babus working in public interest or self-interest?

The ex-bureaucrats are fully aware of these aspects but when I see them not even debating and discussing this core issue of operating outside public interest, but keep followers running in circles, telling them we need more investigations, more police powers, more "powerful" acts--- It is amusing the way they too are trying to play the same game of Britishers to keep us "we the people" as their subjects

We the people are not fit or competent to see the files which led to the order hurting or benefiting a few of us, rightly or wrongly.

The needless secrecy for files leads to granting us RTI ACt as a boon, and we innocently watch some brothers die for just seeking some information! Then we glorify them as heros!

These ex-bureaucrat leaders of ours too join the chorus and join the group glorifying the sacrifice of life of an innocent! They fully know it was a waste of life for nothing. The administration has no sacred right really to hide thiings as they are doing.

Parliament Courts work in open but why finished process of government needs to be kept a secret?

I am sorry that I am unable to accept this light and song show put up by the leaders like JP, Kiran or Kejriwal- they also are taking the plank of honesty to project themselves. I do believe they are very intelligent and know what they are doing.

SO long as they too allow the core malaise to continue, to keep things secret, and allow the benefit of time for criminals to commit their acts, and escape, all this show is wasting our energies.
