Liked your neat write up. I share this historic moment with you. So much of hope has been placed in one man and Obama must be feeling the heavy burden now- but he is so likable guy and starts with a huge all round good will. But he needs a break - a lucky one to turn the tables of the economic mess we have today created by the financial wizards who played a glorified Ponzi game with virtual money without actually creating wealth.
But will he able to spot one even if one is available? He needs a truly value adding and wealth creating invention which can boost the country's lifestyle at affordable cost! Quite often the bureaucracy and established lobbies actually block him from access to such work- his own high position which gives him power to deliver also ironically blocks him from getting access to his solution which is badly needed.
Let me share an example. USA imports oil and we pay heavy sums to gulf countries and now they are not buying back our treasury bonds, as they used to do earlier. USA does not have any life improving solution based on technology to improve lives, except to create a war so that war machines can be marketed. But this model has questionable success rate.
But we do have an energy solution which helps both USA and the world too. The invention ( US Patent Application No 12184151 Gravity Powered Rail, Road & Runways Transportation Systems" dt 07/31/2008) to make use of gravity force to drive transportation through the gravity Power Towers has potential to save import of 10m barrels of oil per day for USA!! Can make USA independent of oil imports. Also this technology can be exported to other countries particularly in Africa and other non-oil producing countries, thus holding a strong position vis-a-vis the oil exporting countries. (ref www.atrilab.com) All transportation sector can be powered by Gravity Power Towers, saving 98% in case of urban rail transport, to 70% in freight & passenger long haul traffic at speeds averaging from 54 kmph to 250 kmph. Eternal and pollution free, USA can then claim back the leadership for greening the planet, and contributing to arrest in a big way the climate change.
But then what is holding back? The layers of bureaucrats, the lobby groups, the general conditioned minds that we cannot have such simple solutions, but we should do much more mega-research to find energy from some other planet or only drill more and more for oil damaging the planet more and more!
How I wish Obama listens to me, and hastens the delivery of the Gravity Power Towers from USA to the world and become master of 30% of the total energy required by planet. We can deliver the first prototypes and demonstration system within 6 months, because the technology involves variable transmission gear, steel cables, and few microprocessors with knowledge embedded, and rolling stock is actually the same/similar as we use now, even simplified because we don't need any electrical traction motors or internal combustion engines or complicated energy supply arrangements.
So what is holding us back? As Einstein said the human stupidity- they cannot believe we can have simpler solutions for seemingly complex problems!
